A Touching Moment during Product Testing

We feel so touched to share a story from one of our recent product tests — that reminded us exactly why we do what we do.

During the first round of product testing, a big Golden Retriever opened the toy without hearing their owner’s voice. So he grew frustrated and tore the toy apart. At the time, we saw it as a strong reaction—until the second round of testing revealed something truly touching.

This time, the owner successfully recorded her voice into the toy. As soon as her Golden Retriever heard his mum’s gentle words, his entire behaviour changed. He began holding the toy with great care, gently nibbling instead of biting, and carrying it with him everywhere throughout the day. For the first time, it became more than a toy — it became a comfort.

This lovely dog has been diagnosed with cancer, with only a few months left to live. Knowing our toy brought him peace, even for a short while, meant the world to us. And to his owner.
